Requirements for Legal Aid

1. ETS Legal Aid Foundation will provide legal aids which cover all areas of civil litigations which include but not limited for family law, employment law, accident matters, recovery of debts except for syariah law matters.
2. For Malaysian Citizens and/or organisations that seek for legal aid, so long that their yearly income is less than RM42,000.00, they do not have to pay any legal fee except for the registration fee for RM100.00 together with the relevant disbursements.
3. For Malaysian Citizens and/or organisations that seek for legal aid, so long that their yearly income is more than RM42,000.00, they are required to pay registration fee for RM100.00 together with the relevant disbursements as well as the scheduled fee as proposed below:-
   1. RM 0 – 42,000.00 of Financial Resourcers (Per Annum) | RM 0 of Legal Fees
   2. RM 42,000.00 – 60,000.00 of Financial Resourcers (Per Annum) | RM 500.00 – 5,000.00 of Legal Fees
   3. RM 60,000.00 – 70,000.00 of Financial Resourcers (Per Annum) | RM 5,000.00 – 30,000.00 of Legal Fees
   4. RM 70,000.00 and above of Financial Resourcers (Per Annum) | RM 8,000.00 – 50,000.00 of Legal Fees
4. In the event that those Malaysian Citizens manages to recover any debts and/or damages and/or losses through legal aid, 15% of the total debts and/or damages and/or losses has to be contributed to ETS Legal Aid Foundation as the fund for ETS Legal Aid Foundation to continue to provide legal aid to the public.
