WFA joins hands for Phone Campaign with Rebecca Chin

In light of the recent transformation in education, the Wholistic Family Association (WFA) aims to aid Rebecca Chin, a social worker in Sabah to collect unused smartphones to be donated to students in need.

Summarising her story from https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2021/01/28/social-worker-seeks-donations-for-used-smart-devices-for-poor-students-in-sabah, many young talents are currently hindered from receiving quality education as they lack the devices to learn properly. As of the moment, she’s happy to receive donations of smartphones, laptops, SIM cards, and financial aid.

Rebecca is doing her best with many helping hands to equip these students with devices to help them with online learning. Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Rebecca is also gathering resources to establish a learning centre for students to come in, use the gadgets and connect to WiFi.

Donations from Peninsular Malaysia are usually passed to her good friend, Faridah Stephens to be shipped to Sabah and distributed. You can learn more about Rebecca’s activity updates via her Facebook, Becky Chin Wong.

If you are interested in joining hands with WFA and donating your smart devices, reach out to us at 018-2314725 or Rebecca Chin herself at 014-653 7589 for the shipping address and more opportunity for colllaborations.
